San Francisco: Exploring Fisherman’s Wharf

You can?t come to San Francisco without visiting Fisherman?s Wharf. Some may say that this area is very touristic and visitor-heavy, I think that it?s a must especially if you are looking to see San Francisco water views. We spent almost an entire afternoon at the Fisherman?s Wharf, embracing the local seafood culture and watching the seals chill in the sun without a care in the world. The area is quite busy, I?m going to warn you but people are really friendly so it isn?t unbearable. We started our day just by walking around the pier and looking at what pier had to offer. We wanted to see more of the marine life which is available in abundance in San Francisco so we visited Aquarium of the Bay. The Aquarium boasts 300 feet of crystal clear acrylic tunnels holding 700,000 gallons of preserved Bay water that sustain over 20000 animals that live in the water of San Francisco Bay. Here you will be able to see all kind of fish ranging from octopuses to shark and smaller fish that swim around. The visit will take you to 30 minutes and it’s defiantly worth it.
